Chen Guangcheng sentenced

Chen was selected as most influential 100 people by Times, China has four selected.

The official news Xinhua reported as :
The People's Court of Yinan County, in east China's Shandong Province, Thursday sentenced Chen Guangcheng to four years and three months in prison on charges of willfully damaging property and organizing a mob to disturb traffic.
The sentence was passed in a public court session.
The charge is related to an incident when police went to his village to arrest farmers, and many farmers protest agaist the arrest. Chen is blinded, thus he could not perform the crime charged.
The court is not public either as his wife and supporters were not allowed in the court room.
