Never use Aplus.net for webhosting/server

(Dec. 20, 2005)We rented one server from Aplus.net, salesman promised they would have excellent service. After we paid for a year, the disaster began. If there is anything wrong with the server, the response time is too slow. The problem is: they do not have ticket system, thus, you have to call or email them when there is a problem. The next tech person may not know your communication with previous one, thus you have to repeat the problems with the next tech person.

You cannot reboot by login to your account, thus if your server is down, you do not have remote reboot. This function is provided by most dedicated server companies. (boxun.com)

After many problems, we decided to cancel the server by paying higher monthly rent fee. They told us they cannot do that. We contacted the saleperson as a new customer, they said it is OK to convert to monthly basis.

Most recently, our server is down for 48 hours. After 24 hours investigation, they told: the problem is system problem, they are not responsible. We have to pay extra fee to fix it. Thanks God. We have little use about this server, we did not do anything to it other than a low traffic websites. They can make a good profit by taking down the server and telling customers the server has system problem that they even did not say what is the problem.
