The official death toll increased to 37 from 36 by August 2nd (BJ time). The total infected is 205 now, 29 in critical situation.
The disease has spread to ten cities, this official report says.
This information is the only news release in China about the so-called "Streptococcosis Suis", it was released by Ministry of Public Health.
The officials have claimed a few times that "disease is under control", but even the official data denies that claim.

Many cities have ordered not purchase porks and other meats from Sichuan, it is causing serious financial problems to farmers in Sichuan.
