(Aug. 01, 2005)Dear guests and reporters, my name is Times Wang. I am the second son of Dr. Wang Bing Zhang.
Thank you for the help of Mr. Liu tai, the chairman of Rescue Wang BingZhang International and james Lung Wai Man, the chairman of Southern Democratic Alliance.
A few days ago, I visited my father in prison and spoke with him for about forty minutes. Unfortunately, he is not in good health. (boxun.com)

Around three weeks ago, he had a stroke. This is the second stroke he' s suffered since being imprisoned. The effects of these strokes were noticeable; he looked weak, spoke hesitantly and disjointedly, and had difficulty moving. Furthermore, he said that due to his extended solitary confinement, he feels mentally drained and isolated and is severely depressed. I knew my father to be an intelligent, articulate and passionate man, but now it seems the physical illnesses and mental stresses have more than taken their toll.
I am very worried about my father. He has suffered two strokes in three years and will likely suffer a third. In addition, he is suffering from heavy depression. Both afflictions threaten his life.
I miss my father very much. I want my father to be a part of my life. I want my grandparents, already in their eighties, to have a chance to see their eldest son again. It is heartbreaking to see my grandmother, with failing health and vision, to cry herself nearly blind, distressed by her son’s ordeal. It becomes unbearable when, through her tears, she prays quietly to able to see his face, hear his voice and feel his touch again before she dies.
Today, I plead the Chinese Communist Party leaders to let my father go for medical reasons. I implore your help in spreading this message.
