Sichuan:152 infected, 31 dead
(July 29, 2005) According to the data released by Health Department of Sichuan, by July 28 (BJ time) there are 31 dead of Streptococcosis Suis, 27 in critical situation, 152 infected in total.
One Hong Kong newspaper reported that a group of journalists from China and Hong Kong were forced to leave Ziyang City where this disease exploded. Local Propaganda Department told these journalists that they had written "problematic", "trouble making" articles.
