After he came to Beijing, he likes in the rain and never uses umbralla.

   In recent years, the government encourages villagers to set up simple containers for collecting rain water. Reporters visited a village that does not have the water container. Reporter saw the lady in the picture who waited for 5 hours in the line to get her water.

   Reporter met a 13 year old boy - Yang Junjun. He has never been to school because his family is too poor. Though the tuition in his village is only 60 RMB (about US$ 7) a year, there are 6-7 kids who can not go to school because they do not have money.

   Yang Junjun has never taken a shower in past 13 years. His clothes are washed twice a year.

   This village has three springs, the closest one is 1 kilometers away, one is 5 kilometers away. Villagers use donkey to carry water or by themselves on shoulder. They need to walk 1 - 5 hours to get water back.

   In relatively developped areas of China, there are water shortage problems from time to time. This year, the draught in north Hebei Province has put 800,000 people in difficulty to get drinking water.
